ANOTHER WORLD DAILY SYNOPSIS.

March 20, 1986

Larry approached Victoria and asked her about the treasure. Fayez has implicated her in the theft. He asked her about Lou Hunt.

Justin was forced to imitate Cass as Mickey. Kathleen was not fooled.

Everybody who's anybody is spectating at Chris' hearing. Todds. Quinn. Corys and the appendages thereof. Let the games begin. Let's get scrupulous. Rules are meant to protect the patient and the doctor. Nancy's in agony. The lawyer is hinting at horrible things. Thomasina was called to the stand.

Michael tried to pull strings on Victoria's behalf.

Victoria denied everything. Larry was not to be put off.

Justin recalled Cass' warning not to reveal his identity. He said Mickey had gone away he knew not where and wasn't likely to come back. I think he gave her [Kathleen] Mickey.

Cass thought about the failed picnic. "go eat a sock, Mickey," he said. A dish sat in the seat next to him on the plane. She's going to Bay City. Her name is Tania. She's friendly.

Thomasina was bullied mercilessly until rescued by the guy in charge. She was let go when she tried to give Chris an unsolicited testimonial. Nancy was summoned by the wicked lawyer. Chris figures this will finish him. Good ol' Derek brought up Carol James. Nancy said he'd tricked her into talking to him but [surprise, surprise] her evidence was not ruled inadmissible. She said Chris had done only what anyone else would have done regardless of doctorhood. He produced a thing from Mrs. James admitting that Chris had treated her. Chris stood up and explained he'd visited her in order to suggest as soothingly as possible that she find another doctor. She started having an attack so he decided against letting her die. Derek brought up Jake. His life was in no danger but Chris treated him.

Neal doesn't want to do any more spy stuff although they want him. He behaved himself badly with bananas in Central America and they're holding it over his head. He doesn't want to put his family in danger. He asked them to get Victoria off the hook. He was told the Egyptian government wanted every last gem.

Mac spoke on Chris' behalf. [you don't want to know.] Applause greeted his impassioned remarks. Chris stood up to say all he'd ever wanted to do was cure people. The panel went out to decide. Chris figures Nancy's testimony has finished him. She hove into view. She tried to explain. He snapped at her and refused to talk to her. he told Rachel he didn't always think he and Nancy were meant to be.

Cass and Tania played cards. She suggested they have dinner. He declined. She used to write for True Confessions. She did her best to tempt him but he said the timing was wrong. She gave him her number just in case he changed his mind.

Michael and Neal ran into each other. Neal recognizes him as head of New Resources. He asked why he was being a stableboy. [Oh, they're in Washington. I get it.] Michael asked him not to blow his cover. He assured him he had no intention of doing nasty things to the Corys. Neal accepted this warily. Michael told him to stay away from Victoria. "No can do," said Neal regretfully.

Bridget told Victoria a man had called from the Justice Department. She's worried. Victoria denied having taken the jewels. She ordered Bridget to make tea. Left alone she got out the War and Peace and said "what do I do now?"

Kathleen had a warped dream. She was the red-haired Princess puppet hanging out with Mickey. She couldn't get him to stay put so she could find out who he was. When she awoke she knew Mickey was Cass.

Michael wouldn't give his reasons for his interest in Victoria beyond denying he was lusting after her. he warned Neal if he involved Victoria in any more treasure business he'd answer to him.

Victoria and Bridget are nervous.

The decision is taking a long time. at last it has been made.

Kathleen is delighted with her conclusions. She booked a one-way flight home.
