September 13th, 1984 [probably]

These snippets of dialogue are undated but I believe they are probably from the same day.

Donna: maybe not intentionally.

Catlin: no, not in any way.

Donna: you can't promise that, can you?

Catlin: well maybe I can't. But if we could just have a few minutes together —

Donna: Catlin I can't take the risk.it would be devastating for my family.

Catlin: you know when I first met you Donna I thought you were a cold lady and the only thing you cared about was money.

Donna: I don't care anything about money.

Catlin: I know that now. It's your family, and your name, and this house. See, these things are so important to you because they are a part of you.

Donna: a very large part of me, yes.

Catlin: well, see, I don't have a nice house, and Lord knows I don't have any money. All I have in my life is Sally. She's everything to me. She's my — she's my — my — my reason for living.

Donna: I believe she is Catlin.

Catlin: that's why I fought so hard to be free, so we could be together. I couldn't throw away my dream any more than you could turn your back on your family.

Donna: you're so lucky Catlin you're so rich beyond any wealth.

Catlin: will you help me?

Catlin: what do you think? I'm some kind of fool? Of course she wants to see me!

Donna: Catlin, she said she didn't. She was emphatic.

Catlin: no. You're making that up.

Donna: Catlin, she said "I don't ever want to see him again" those were her exact words. She said it over and over again.

Catlin: Sally loves me.

Donna: well it looks like she doesn't.

Catlin: Sally loves me and I love her.

Donna: Catlin I told you there aren't any happy endings in real life.

Catlin: you have to bring her here.

Donna: how can I get her here if she doesn't want to see you?

Catlin: THAT IS NOT TRUE DONNA.

Donna: the Sallys of this world are not strong people. When things go wrong, they run.

Catlin: no.

Donna: Catlin, haven't you figured this out yet? Are you so blind? She had a policeman there when you arrived!

Catlin: that's right, she warned me about the cop!

Donna: SHE WARNED YOU SO THAT YOU COULD RUN!

Catlin: THAT'S RIGHT!

Donna: if you hadn't been running they wouldn't have been able to shoot you. You had to be trying to escape. She's in a great deal of trouble with the police, probably because she tried to help you and she's made a deal with them to save her own skin. She is finished with you, Catlin! It won't be the first time a woman has betrayed her lover in order to lead him into some trap.

Catlin: no, NO, DONNA. Sally loves me. I need her, and SHE LOVES ME.

Donna: no she doesn't, Catlin.

Catlin: I have to see her. I have to see her, and no one, not even you, is going to take that away from me.

Donna: I'm sorry that I had to be the one to tell you that. Maybe she's not what you thought she was. People never are...

Exit Donna.

Catlin: Sally...

Catlin: tomorrow night, Sally, we will be together.

Sally: it hurts so much. Why does it have to hurt so much?

Perry: Catlin. He wants to see you, Sally. He misses you Sally, he told me to tell you.

Sally: I — I can't see him. No I can't see him tonight.

Perry: you're worried about him but believe me, Catlin is safe.

Sally: no.

Larry: you can't afford to think. You can't afford to take a chance. Not with my brother's life at stake.

Sally: I don't want to hurt him.

Perry: he misses you, Sally, he told me to tell you.

Larry: a man's life is at stake. Catlin's life.

Sally: I know that, but —

Herb Harris: Catlin Ewing. Catlin Ewing wants to harm you. It's Catlin Ewing who's threatening you.

Perry: he wants to see you, Sally. He misses you, Sally.

Larry: a man's life is at stake. Catlins life, Sally.

Herb Harris: the next time Catlin Ewing says your name, you will take the gun and you will shoot him.

Sally: I will shoot.

Herb Harris: you will shoot Catlin Ewing.

Sally: I will shoot.

Herb Harris: Catlin Ewing.

Sally: Catlin Ewing.
