Kathleen rushed into the office and said Cass had tried to call her.
Vic ordered Neal out. He told her if she screamed he'd tell everyone she was impersonating Marley. She struggled silently. She panicked. He reminded her of everything he had against her.
Peter yelled at Brittany for being so bold as to attempt to call her baby Lawrence after her father. He ordered her never to take matters into her own hands again. She was subdued. He told her dangerously the baby was his and would be seen to be his.
MJ told Kathleen they'd traced the call (it had been static, c'est tout) to a wrong number from Hong Kong. Kathleen was considerably deflated. She refused to budge when they tried to lure her to Mary's Place.
Gloria and LaRusso waited long enough to teach Cass a lesson before rushing in. Cass and blissful LaRusso don't get along. Gloria begged Cass to watch himself.
Donna and Michael stood around together in a sort of mental fog. She plans to go to her beach house and relax. Michael got distracting.
Victoria uttered muffled cries. (I'm aching to hear a good loud scream.) She told Neal to get off of her and hit at him. He told her to relax. She slapped him. He told her to admit she wanted him. She told him she'd scream if he touched her. She doesn't care if he tells. She started yelling. Michael burst in and slugged him.
Peter brooked no nonsense. He forced Brittany to do this thing right. He has a few other mistakes to correct.
Zane and Felicia left Kathleen to MJ. (Zane very cleverly erased Felicia first.)
Michael fired Neal and ordered him out. Donna rushed to Marley [Vic]'s side. Neal kept threatening to expose Victoria but never did. (I can't think why.) Vic told Donna she was all right. Michael yelled at Neal and threw him out. Donna got upset. Michael sent her to the beach. He called Vic sweetheart. She asked if he'd call Victoria sweetheart.
MJ showed Kathleen the list of Cass' women. Kathleen denied being hurt and insisted on staying for the questioning.
Vic said Victoria was tough and Donna thought she handled things better than Marley did. Michael said he disagreed: "She's a basket case and I worry about her a lot . . . I think she's a real jerk . . . but I happen to have a real soft spot in my heart for jerks." He asked for a hug. She obliged. He said he was mad he'd never been able to be a father all those years ago. He said he probably would have been terrible at it. She disagreed. He told her she was his girl and asked her not to tell Victoria about this conversation in case she got upset. "She's a little insecure. I guess that's why I love her so much."
Felicia and Zane checked out Cass' mail. They found Cass had had a second apt.
Cass preyed on Gloria's sympathy yet again but her sentimentality is outweighed by her devotion to the Queen. She told him there was a plot afoot guaranteed to alienate Kathleen forever.
MJ told Kathleen she couldn't stay for the interrogations. Kathleen merely goggled at the queue. She met Annabelle Hightower and heard Cass was no talk, all action and insisted on staying. (She's being tiresome.) Annabelle has not seen Cass for two years, five months, 13 days. He was her Rhett Butler. (A great time for Tom's memorable line: "See you later, Scarlett.") Exit Annabelle. Enter Letitia "the one with the peanut butter". She hadn't seen him in years. Exit Letitia.
Brittany left a message for Catlin that she'd called. The nurse brought her baby to her. She promised to love and protect and keep him forever. ("That's what you think." "Lina's getting a little carried away, isn't she, boss?" "Listen, you boa constrictor. Don't get any fancy ideas about the future. Tell her, R. F.") So go to sleep, my little buckaroo.
Michael was surprised that Marleyvic was astonished when he said he loved Victoria. She reminded him of the things Marley had said about Victoria. He told her to forgive her because she's her sister. She said that wasn't a good enough reason. He said all Victoria wanted was to be loved. He said he would always be there for Victoria. (It's so hard to refer to Vic when she's being Marley.) Enter Donna. Victoria thanked Michael and pled places to go, people to see.
Felicia and Zane returned to the police station. Zane got himself in trouble, ogling Cass' cast-offs. None of them were any use to MJ. They found out Kathleen knew nothing of Cass' other apartment. Kathleen said she hoped there was one, just one, woman in Bay City whom Cass had overlooked. Enter a nun wanting to chat about Cass.
Neal drank a little. Vic stumbled across him and told him to leave her alone. He was glad to although slightly vengeful. He ran into the strange man and was not happy. "They sent you . . . get lost."
Donna heard a terrible racket from a neighbouring beach house. (The Power of Love.) She asked them to keep it down. Michael and Sherri in bathing suits appeared.
