Zack advised Brittany to be calm. Peggy appeared with bad news.
Felicia asked Mitch what was wrong.
MJ phoned Kathleen to say Vince was going to be arrested. Kathleen phoned home.
Vince stomped around preparing to leave. He ignored the ringing phone.
Peggy told Zack the judge was delayed. Brittany was reimprisoned. Peggy suggested plea bargaining. Zack suggested reducing it to an illegal discharge of firearm and Brittany on probation. Peggy refused.
Kathleen and Cheryl fretted.
Mitch told Felicia he had to meet his parole officer. Maisie dashed up and told Felicia Cass wanted her to cruise by the McKinnons'.
Kathleen tried to track Cass down.
Cass chatted with Mary. She assured him she'd stand by her daughters. Kathleen caught up with Cass on the car phone. She told him Vince was going to be arrested. [I got the impression in the Felicia message that he already knew. Oh well.] He said he was on his way.
MJ yelled at Samuels. He refused to listen to her. He told her she was only worked up because it was her father.
Mary visited with Reginald a little. She asked him if the night of the attack had been dark. He said it had been but the terrace and the drawing room had been lighted and that was how Vince had been identified. He assured her he didn't want Vince wrongfully accused of attempted murder any more than she did. She seemed sceptical but tempted to believe him. He pressed his advantage. She attempted to flee. He blamed the McKinnons. He trotted out the old " I did it all for love" arguments. She asked if he hadn't set up Vince because he loved her. He swore he hadn't. She didn't believe him.
Mitch visited with Brittany. She told him the Loves had railroaded her into jail. He advised her not to worry about them or blame them. Mitch is full of prison wisdom. He warned her not to show any anger in court. Enter Rachel.
MJ arrived at Mary's Place to fret with Kathleen. Ada put them to work.
Cheryl was uncivil to Scott. He told her he loved her and didn't want to see her father arrested. She yelled at him. She returned his ring.
Rachel visited with Brittany. Brittany told her she should try to be friends with Mitch. She told her about the parole officer.
Padowski keeps calling Mitch 106 dash 207. He told him he was in trouble for leaving the state even though the kidnapping charges had been dropped. Parole violation.
Scott attempted to reason with Cheryl. She yelled at him for not having come to Vince's defence and said she didn't love him anymore.
Kathleen went out to look for Vince.
Cass found Vince at home. Vince asked him to take over as head of the family. The police rolled up. He fled. Cass received Samuels graciously. Samuels had a warrant for Vince's arrest. While the police searched the house Cass made certain Vince got away.
Reginald told Mary he had had nothing to do with Vince's arrest. She got upset and fled to her children.
Mitch considered the possibility of going to jail again. It is not a happy prospect.
Cass got Felicia over to the McKinnons' to give her a pep talk. He made her promise to get on with her life. He promised her a hunk. She said it sounded a lot like goodbye. Kathleen ran in and said Cass had to help Pops. Cass ran Felicia out. She thought he was behaving very oddly. Cass comforted Kathleen. He left, having instructed her to stall the cops and meet him at Mary's Place.
Vince was very nice to Cheryl. He advised Scott to stay away from her. He went out to the car.
All Brittany ever asks Zack is "will Catlin be there?" They left for the courthouse.
Cass was in Vince's car. Vince is not heading for the police station. They stopped. Vince: what are you doing here? Cass: that's my line. What are you doing here? [I'll bet it's Kathleen.]
Padowski bugged Mitch. Enter Felicia at her most gracious. Padowski told her Mitch was going to take a little trip. Felicia said she hoped to change his mind. Enter Rachel with thoughts of putting a good word in.
Samuels looked for Vince at Mary's Place. Cheryl rushed in and said his car was gone from the alley.
Cass explained to Kathleen that they were fleeing illegally and she wasn't to come. She came.
Brittany got panicky when Catlin was not in court. The people versus Brittany Love. The Hon Leonard L Finch presiding. Things got rolling. Brittany stood up and accused Peter. The judge did not appreciate it.
