Blacksmithing Woodworking Heritage Consulting

Welcome to the blacksmith shop!

I have worn a variety of hats, both in my professional and non-professional pursuits. Currently I am working as a blacksmith. I do not shoe horses (although I have trained as a farrier) as I have specialized in demonstrating and interpreting the craft of blacksmithing. You can see photos and descriptions of my mobile rig below.

When working on my own I produce of variety of household furnishings: fireplace hardware, kitchen hardware, curtain hardware as well as items for the garden and camping.

As a blacksmith I maintain the blacksmith shop at the Cumberland Heritage Village Museum, and I also travel to different sites presenting an interpretive blacksmithing programme.
