Feature Films
Based on Jeffrey Konvitz' best-selling novel, MCA's The
Sentinel (1977) focuses on Alison Parker, played by Cristina
Raines. When Alison rents an apartment in a gloomy New York
brownstone, little does she realize the unspeakable horrors that
awate her behind its mysterious doors. Alison likes her eccentric
new neighbors, so it comes as a shock when she's told that, except
for a strange old priest, she's the only tenant.
Nana is seen at the very end of the film, where she plays a woman
who is looking for an apartment with her husband--and winds up
renting the same apartment that Alison did.
