My father's family comes from the Western Hebrides

by way of Cape Breton and Victoria counties

in Nova Scotia and my mother's family is from the

East End of London and Belfast by way of Montreal.

I am posting genealogical information on the following

families based on their ancestry:

CAPE BRETON ISLAND

My father's father, Ronald MacVicar, was born on October 28, 1870

in Cow Bay (Port Morien) and died on September 23 1960 in Sydney

My father's mother, Edith Jessie MacAulay, was born on February 16, 1880

in Cow Bay (Port Morien) and died on May 06, 1961 in Brockville, Ontario

They were married on August 23, 1911 in Port Morien

LONDON and BELFAST

My mother's father, Harry Critchley, was born on December 03, 1881

in Shoreditch, Middlesex and died on December 19, 1945 in Montreal

My mother's mother, Mary Agnes Mayes, was born on June 16, 1890

in Belfast and died on March 18, 1976 in Montreal

They were married on February 27, 1922 in St. Martin's Anglican, Montreal
