Congratulations
You are in a website that contains the directions to great walks
around Ontario and also leads you to over 500 special walking events
across Canada. These events allow you to meet other walkers and
join with them after the walk to replenish some of calories lost
in the previous two hours.
Walking is a proven recipe for rosy cheeks, bright eyes, and a fitter
life style. The first step in walking is always the hardest, and
each step thereafter becomes easier.
Walking is the
most rewarding way to see your own town or city, or to enjoy the
scenic views and landmarks of places you visit. Walks are just a
step away, not only across Canada, but in the United States and
over 30 countries overseas.
Check out our
event listings and come out and join us. Usually our walks are 10
kilometres or so but we do have 5 kilometre trails as well. That's
generally about a 2-hour walk for the 10km and an hour for 5km.
And the walks are free - there isn't even any obligation to join
a club.
Remember you
always walk at your own pace and the length of time taken to complete
the route is not important. What is important is that you walked,
and found the key to a fitter lifestyle.
