If you have a child who hits other children, here are some suggestions which can help. These are not the only things you need to do but I believe they're important. See also other ideas on my parenting page.

• Consider the possibility that the child is being yelled at, and work to eliminate this from the child's life.
• Consider the possibility that the child is being hit, physically attacked, painfully restrained or corporally punished, and work to eliminate this from the child's life.
• Consider the possibility that the child is being sexually abused, and work to eliminate this from the child's life.
