Processional: There is a Redeemer (Melody Green)
- Organ . The congregation is invited to sing
There is a redeemer; Jesus, God's own Son
Precious lamb of God, Messiah, Holy One
Thank you O my Father, for giving us your Son
And leaving your Spirit 'til the work on earth is done.
When I stand in Glory, I will see His face,
And there I'll serve my king forever, in that holy place.
Thank you O my Father, for giving us your Son
And leaving your Spirit 'til the work on earth is done.

Call to worship/Introduction: David Sherwin
Prayer of Approach: David Sherwin
Responsive Reading: Gloria Stafford
Philippians 2, 5-11 Congregation read verses in bold.
Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
Whom being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death - even death on a cross!
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Hymn: Be Thou My Vision - Lori Weber (Solo)
Irish traditional (revised words)
Be thou my vision, O Lord of my heart
Bid every rival give way and depart.
You my best thought by day or by night,
waking or sleeping, your presence my light.
Lord, be my wisdom, and be my true word,
I ever with you and you with me, Lord.
You my great father and I your true child,
once far away, but by love reconciled.
Lord, be my breastplate, my sword for the fight,
be my strong armour, for you are my might.
You are my shelter and you my high tower,
raise me to heaven, O Power of my power.
I need no riches, nor earth's empty praise,
you're my inheritance through all of my days.
All of your treasure to me you impart,
High King of heaven, the first of my heart.
High King of heaven, when battle is done,
grant heaven's joy to me, O bright heaven's sun,
Christ of my own heart, whatever befall,
still be my vision, O Ruler of all.

Praise Song: My Jesus, My Saviour (Darlene Zschech)
Lori Weber leads the congregation
My Jesus, My Saviour, Lord there is none like you;
All of my days, I want to praise; the wonders of your mighty love.
My comfort, my shelter; Tower of refuge and strength,
let every breath, all that I am, never cease to worship you.
Shout to the Lord all the earth, let us sing;
power and majesty praise to the king:
Mountains bow down and the seas will roar,
at the sound of your name.
I sing for joy at the work of your hands,
Forever I'll love you, forever I'll stand;
Nothing compares to the promise I have in you.
