In July 2002, Laura Norie sent Ellie back to Ontario from British Columbia for a few months of fun in the field.  Flying out on the day her 8 puppies turned 8 weeks, just 3 months later Ellie had earned her Working Certificate Intermediate and Junior Hunter titles.  She capped off the season being a star playing pick-up dog at a 400 bird tower shoot.  Ellie wowed the shooters with her style, intensity and ability to find their downed birds.  More than once Ellie had to "bring 'em back alive"...proving that her retrieving was a bit better than their shooting!
