Ch. Javahill's Pikk-A-Dilly
CKC WC, US
WCI, CD
Dilly stayed for winter 2005 and worked on obedience. At the
end
of March we headed to Syracuse for 4 shows where she competed in both
obedience and conformation. It meant allot of running from
building to building and around rings but at the end of the weekend she
had earned 3 novice legs to complete here AKC CD title and she'd also
won Winners Bitch/Best of Opposite Sex each day in the show ring to
earn both required majors and the 10 remaining points that she needed
to complete here AKC CH title. Dilly is now CH Javahill's
Pikk-A-Dilly CD, Cdn/US WC. She has earned the U.S. Toller Club
Versatility Certficate and Rusty Jones Award as well as the Canadian
Toller Club Doberstein Award. Congratulations Linda! We are
going to miss Dilly when she heads home.
After completing her AKC CH and CD at the beginning of April we decided
that Dilly would stay just a bit longer and try for her U.S. WCI on
Memorial Day weekend. Back to the fields we went to teach
doubles, diversions and steadiness in less than two months! Her
winter of obedience training served us well and training went
beautifully. Unable to get into the water until well into May she
was only given two chances to do water doubles before the test. Dilly
rose to the challenge at passed the WCI with flying colours.
Dilly is home in Calfornia now and we all miss her terribly.
Dilly
passed the
CKC WC in back to back tests on October
8th and 9th 2004 and then went on to pass the NSDTRC-USA WC test at the
2004 U.S. National Specialty in Alabama. She did great work at
all
tests. She returned with us to Canada to work on obedience
throughout
the winter.
In May 2003, Javahill's Pikk-A-Dilly made
the big
trip
from Linda Fitzmaurice's home in California to spend two months playing
in the field in Ontario.
She soon wormed her way into the hearts of
everyone
that
met her and proved herself to be a great retriever. Check out the
pictures below!
In July 2004 Dilly returned! Having
had only
one
shot at her WC in 2003 at 7.5 months of age, she wasn't successfull on
the water after a huge crack of thunder made her lose her
concentration.
So she's back for more fun in the field. Now a pretty little lady
we are all wondering where her tom boy self went - then she throws
herself
into the pond and we see the girl we use to know!
