waiting for his turn at the line - July 2005

Gambler spent 5 months in California with
Linda
Fitzmaurice
and Meredith Noreen (Javahill Tollers) during summer 2004. On
July
4th he become an AKC Champion finishing with 4 majors, a Group 3 and
Group
4 which rocketed him to the number 7 Toller in the U.S., All Breeds
with
509 points (as of July 7th). Three weeks later on July 24/25,
entered
in 4 International Shows, he became an Int.Ch. and Multi BIS winner
taking
back to back to back BIS awards in the first three shows and a Reserve
BIS in the 4th show. After 5 months in California with Linda Fitzmaurice and Meredith Noreen, Gambler and I met up in Alabama at the 2004 U.S. National Specialty. His time in California earned him 14 BOB wins and 7 group placements. This in only 8 weekends of showing! His finishes up his AKC showing with 1,131 All Breed points. At the Specialty he did me proud, despite not seeing him for 5 months and doing no real obedience training for 2.5 years he qualified in Open B on Friday. In the conformation ring on Saturday he and Meredith made the cut for Best of Breed. And then on Sunday he passed the WCX test. It was a heck of a run!From... .......it's obvious that Gambler had a fabulous time! As did Linda and Meredith! Many thanks to Linda and Meredith for loving
Gambler as
much as I do! |
Gambler has proven himself to be the kind of versatile guy that a Toller should be. Equally at home in the Field, Obedience Ring, Show Ring or simply lounging on the couch, he is the perfect companion.
His kids are following in his paw prints.
Monty
(Ch. Kylador's Zinfandel Fully Monty WCI, JH, CD, CGC) won Best of
Opposite
Sex at the 2003 Canadian National and Tazo (Dragonluck's Tazo Chai) won
first place in the Senior Puppy Bitch class. Both these pups
represented
Gambler in the Specialty Stud Dog class (photo above) where Gambler
placed
third.
