You don't have to use the elm mailreader, in order to use the filter program. You can still use mr to read any email that is in your Freeport mailbox after it has passed through the filter program. You only have to use elm to read any email that you have saved in folders (in your work directory) with the filter program. As for setting it up, all you have to do is go to the menu at ">go elm #5" and: 1. #4. edit your filter-rules 2. #3. activate the filter To de-activate the filter, ">go forward" and turn off forwarding. The only "tricky" part is writing your filter-rules. There is a copy of my filter-rules and some other information in my filter directory at http://www.ncf.ca/~ag221/filter/.
