• A family tree of some 500 people spanning over 240 years (to around 1750) has been collected and stored using the software 'Family Tree Maker'.

  Macdonald (my mother's family)

  
  • This portion of our family tree has been traced back to several McDonalds in Scotland, southern Ontario, New York in the 1700's. Included is a link to Joel Stone who founded Gananoque in 1792.
  • Apparently there may also be some connection to Sir John A. Macdonald but this link has not yet been completed. More information is needed about cousins and uncles of his.
