Pat MacDonald

Pat MacDonald Pat MacDonald (Martha Reck) is an accomplished director, singer and actor, in addition to her work as a teacher. Most recently, she directed the Savoy Society's Yeomen of the Guard. This is Pat's first appearance with Tara.

Pat began performing back in the ‘Dark Ages' while at university in California. Since then, she has performed in at least one production most every year of her adult life. Most of her stage time has been in musical theatre productions with such groups as the Edmonton Light Opera Society, Orpheus Society of Ottawa the old Gloucester/Bytown Players, and primarily with the Savoy Society of Ottawa for whom she has also directed and coreographed. Pat is also a member of Classic Silk, a vocal jazz group which performs the big band and swing numbers of the 30s and 40s. This is her first journey back into a dramatic role since tackling Edward Albee in the 1970s. In her other life, Pat is a Guidance/Arts Head with the Ottawa Carleton District School Board.
